In this phase, it's time to look at healthy ways to maintain your results, create new goals, and explore paths of self-improvement. It's about loving the journey and reassessing your priorities to continue making progress in all areas of your life. So let's prioritize what's important and keep the momentum going with a wildfire mindset!

Realizing the need for balance, Mark decides to incorporate regular rest days into his routine. He also explores other areas of interest outside of fitness, such as taking up a new hobby and spending quality time with friends and family.

By finding a healthier balance and allowing himself time to recharge, Mark not only prevents burnout but also discovers a newfound sense of enjoyment and fulfilment in his journey.

  • Emily has been fully dedicated to her fitness journey as a Wildfire, but she realizes that she has been neglecting other important aspects of her life. She feels isolated and misses out on quality time with her loved ones. Recognizing the need for balance, Emily starts prioritizing her relationships by scheduling regular social activities and reconnecting with her hobbies. She sets boundaries around her fitness routine to ensure she has time for both her goals and personal life.

Through this shift in perspective, Emily rediscovers the joy of a well-rounded life, finding fulfilment not only in her fitness achievements but also in her connections and passions.

CHALLENGES YOU MIGHT FACE

You're on top of your game, but that doesn't mean there won't be challenges ahead. Here are some challenges you might face in the Wildfire position:

BURNOUT - After being too focused on achieving specific goals without taking breaks burnout can appear. The intense drive for continuous progress and results can lead to physical and mental exhaustion, making it essential for Wildfires to find a balance between pushing themselves and allowing for rest and recovery.

BALANCE - Neglecting other important areas of their life due to an intense focus on fitness or other goals. While their commitment to their goals is admirable, it's important for Wildfires to ensure they maintain a well-rounded life, giving attention to relationships, hobbies, and self-care to avoid imbalance and potential dissatisfaction.

PRIORITIES - Feeling unsatisfied or lost once they've achieved their initial goals and need to find new areas for growth and progress. Wildfires may experience a sense of emptiness or uncertainty after reaching their initial milestones. It's crucial for them to reassess their priorities, set new goals or paths for self-improvement, and find new avenues of challenge and fulfilment to sustain their motivation and continue their growth journey.

FOCUS ON PRIORITY

When making any lifestyle changes it’s important to know what your true priorities are. Figure out what really matters to you by ranking different aspects of your life, so you can focus on what's most important and urgent.

Knowing your true priorities is important when it comes to making a lifestyle change because it grounds you and helps filter out unrealistic expectations.

Movement MINDSET

The Wildfire phase is all about remembering to love the journey.

Life is an infinite game, with no score, no winner and the purpose is simply to play better.  Short-term goals and results can be self-destructive.

Focus on getting a little bit better all the time, but most importantly find ways to love the journey.
