Welcome to the Conductor phase! You have the skills, a basic knowledge of habits, already started making lasting lifestyle changes and can put it all to use while you continue learning more advanced skills and methods. This phase is all about taking control of your life and orchestrating your actions towards your desired outcome.

As a Conductor, you're able to juggle multiple priorities and see the bigger picture. You have a clear vision for your future, and you're willing to work hard to achieve it. You're also able to adapt to unexpected situations and pivot when necessary. It's important to maintain balance and prioritize self-care. It can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and forget about your own needs.

But don't worry, we're here to help you stay on track and create sustainable habits that support your goals. As a Conductor, you're in charge of your life's symphony, and we're here to help you make beautiful music.

  • Emma has been making great progress in her health and fitness journey as a Conductor, but she's worried about losing momentum during an upcoming family holiday. She's afraid that being away from her usual routine and environment will derail her progress.

Suggestion: Emma, as a Conductor, you have the skills and knowledge to pick up where you left off even when faced with new challenges. Instead of seeing your family holiday as a roadblock, view it as an opportunity to adapt and find creative solutions. Practice starting and stopping. Research local activities that align with your health goals, such as hiking, swimming, or exploring new cuisines with nutritious options. Plan active outings with your family and involve them in your healthy habits. Remember, progress isn't limited to a specific location or routine. You have the power to maintain your momentum and make choices that support your well-being, even during a holiday.

  • Alex has been a long-time runner, but lately, he's been feeling bored with his usual routine. He's heard about a local triathlon and decided to take on the challenge of completing it. However, he’s worried that it might be too much to handle and that they'll struggle to balance it with their existing commitments.

Suggestion: Alex, as a Conductor, you have the ability to take on new challenges while maintaining balance in your life. Start by evaluating the challenge and its alignment with your overall goals and priorities. Break it down into manageable steps and create a plan that allows you to allocate time and resources effectively. Consider delegating or seeking support from others who can help you along the way. Remember, it's not about doing it all at once, but about orchestrating your actions in a way that allows you to make progress without overwhelming yourself. Trust in your ability to adapt and find solutions, and approach the challenge with confidence and strategic thinking.

  • Sarah has been interested in health and fitness for a while, but her knowledge is limited. She's been reading about different diets and workout routines, but she's not sure which sources to trust. She's worried about investing time and effort into something that may not work for her.

Suggestion: Sarah, as a Conductor, you understand the power of compounding habits and how they contribute to lasting progress. Look for opportunities to expand your health and fitness knowledge, whether it's through reading books, attending workshops, or taking online courses. Incorporate new practices or techniques into your routine gradually, allowing them to compound with your existing habits. Experiment with different workout styles or try new nutritious recipes to keep your routine exciting and enjoyable. Remember, it's about continuous growth and refinement as you conduct your life's symphony of health and well-being.

CHALLENGES YOU MIGHT FACE

When you’re finally in a good routine and on a roll it can be challenging to make changes and adapt to the normal things life throws at us. Here are some of the challenges you’re likely to face in the conductor phase.

FEAR OF LOSING CONTROL - You may still face challenges such as fear of losing control and slipping back into old habits. It can be difficult to maintain your progress and commitment when life gets in the way.

RECOMMITTING - Being a Conductor is all about pushing forward and picking up where you left off. Expect that normal day-to-day life will interfere with your routine and you’ll have to practice restarting every time you stop.

STILL LEARNING - You may encounter more advanced concepts and ideas in health and fitness that you may not have a deep understanding of. This can make it challenging to navigate through the sea of information and find what works best for you.

Focus ON HABITS

Transform your daily routines by creating healthy habits that align with your values and goals, making it easier to maintain your progress over time.

Habits are compounding automatic repetitive behaviour. Change your values, systems and environment to make desired behaviours automatic. Create a habit register and develop strategies using 4 factors Cue, Craving, Response and Reward.

Movement MINDSET

In the Conductor phase it’s good to remember, compounding is Key, because success is built over time.

Doing the right things repeatedly will not show huge results instantly, but will build slowly over time.
