Inclusivity Matters and this is the next step
Gone are the days where gyms were perceived as exclusively masculine spaces focused solely on physical appearance. At Movement, we believe that how you feel and what you can achieve are far more important than conforming to societal expectations.
As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and diversity, we are thrilled to announce that we are proudly supporting the insanely amazing crew over at Minus18, an incredible organization advocating for LGBTQ+ youth.
Supporting Minus18
In the spirit of Pride Month and in collaboration with Minus18, we are taking meaningful steps to support the LGBTQ+ community. We firmly believe in the importance of authentic participation, and that's why we have carefully considered how we can make a genuine impact.
Starting this month, we will be donating $1 from each active member of Movement to Minus18. This collective effort will contribute to their mission of providing support and resources for LGBTQ+ youth across Australia.

Additionally, we are excited to introduce some special pride-themed additions to our Movement merch collection for all the allies and alphabet mafia in our community. The best part? 100% of the profit from this merchandise will be donated directly to Minus18.
This gives our members a way to not only show their support for inclusivity but also make a difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.
Ongoing Support
Supporting Minus18 is about more than just numbers. We want to roll up our sleeves and actively contribute to creating a safe and welcoming space for our LGBTQ+ members. That's why we're teaming up with Minus18 on some exciting initiatives:
Staff Workshops: We're all about learning and growing, so we're organizing workshops facilitated by the Minus18 crew. These sessions will help us better understand the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals and equip our staff with the tools to create a supportive environment for all.
Creating a Safe and Inclusive Space: To make Movement a place where everyone feels comfortable, no matter their identity. We'll be working with Minus18 to brainstorm ways we can further improve our facilities, services, and policies to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, and represented.
Supporting Minus18 and Beyond: We're open to exploring even more ways to back Minus18 or other organizations doing incredible work. We believe in amplifying the voices and efforts of those making a difference. We are working on a strategy to do this consistently and sustainably at Movement.
