BACK EXTENSION
TARGET MUSCLES: Hamstrings, Gluteus Maximus, Erector Spinae.
MOVEMENTS: Spinal extension.
1. Step over leg supports, place front of hips on support pad, lock ankles behind support and adjust hips towards top of support pad.
2. Inhale. Lower torso towards floor.
3. Exhale. Squeeze glutes and hamstrings to lift torso to a straight position with shoulders and hips aligned and repeat in a controlled motion.
