Commitment to Child Safety

Movement Health Clubs is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every child and young person who engages with our services, programs, and facilities.

At Cornubia, we are committed to providing a child-safe environment in which children feel safe, respected, and included.

We do not tolerate child abuse, neglect, grooming, bullying, exploitation, or any behaviour that places a child at risk of harm.

We are committed to: - acting in the best interests of children at all times - creating a culture where concerns are raised early and taken seriously - ensuring people working with children understand their responsibilities - maintaining appropriate screening, conduct, reporting, and recordkeeping systems - involving parents and carers appropriately in child safety - reviewing and improving our child safety practices over time

Any concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child must be reported immediately.

Adjunct Care (Crèche)

Movement provides adjunct care, which is a limited child-minding service.

It is important to understand that Movement is not a childcare facility and does not provide early childhood education or full supervision services.

Adjunct care is only available while the child’s parent or guardian:

  • remains on site at all times

  • is contactable and available immediately if required

  • does not leave the facility while their child is in care

Under 18 Members

Members under 18 years of age are permitted to access the club only under specific conditions.

Movement does not provide general supervision for under 18 members during gym use.

As a condition of membership:

  • a guarantor must agree in writing

  • the under 18 member must be supervised by another adult member at all times

This ensures that responsibility for supervision remains clear and appropriate.
