MOVEMENTS: Extension at the Elbow
Keep your elbows pinned to your sides and slightly behind the body throughout the whole movement. Start by retracting your shoulder blades and your hands at shoulder level, roughly inline with your chest and, most importantly, out in front of your body as far as you can.
Exhale push/pull the weight down til your elbows are straight.
Inhale and slowly release back to start position; will not release the cable all the way to the top. Try not to let your shoulders and chest move throughout the movement.
TIP: Here Jess is standing up relatively straight, however as you build strength in form and confidence, hinge slightly forward from the hips so you have a greater degree of motion.
