Abductor & Adductor

ABDUCTOR & ADDUCTOR MACHINE

TARGET MUSCLES: Tensor Fasciae Latae, Glute muscles – gluteus medius, minimus.

MOVEMENTS: Hip Adduction Hip abduction.

1. Sit on machine with your back straight and in contact with the back rest, chest up, legs outside pads for adduction ( in) , legs on inside of pads for abduction (out).

2. Exhale. Squeeze legs in towards centre or out towards hips.

3. Inhale. Return to start position and repeat in a controlled motion.
