We have heaps of group fitness classes at Movement Casuarina! This means it’s easier than ever to find your movement, from high energy Les Mills classes to super chill yoga. Here we believe “any movement is good movement” so come on in and try out a class today.
ABOUT OUR CLASSES
There are options for all fitness levels in all classes. Please let your instructor know if you are new or have any restrictions. For yours and others safety, please be on time for you class, late comers may be asked to leave.
STRENGTH & HIIT & CARDIO
LesMills Body Pump - 60mins
The fastest way to change your body shape. Adjustable weight loaded barbells allow you to increase your lean muscle mass (without building ‘bulk’)burning more calories and ensuring awesome muscle tone as well as improving your posture.
LesMills Body Attack - 30-45mins
A high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLSTM instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 730 calories* and leaving you with a sense of achievement
LesMills Grit Series - 30mins
High intensity interval training (HIIT) workout takes you into overdrive to go hard, push harder and get you fitter, super-fast! The short, sharp, demanding workouts combine weightlifting, running and plyometric for a full body workout.
Super Circuit - 55mins
This class uses a range of different ‘stations’ each of which involves a different exercise. You perform timed sets at each station before moving to the next one. It’s based around a whole body workout with a strong focus on strength and cardiovascular set to motivating music. A great class to increase fitness & tone up. Suitable for all levels of fitness.
Boxing - 60mins
Work through boxing technique with focus mitts, pads and kickpads. A high energy workout awesome for building fitness and toning your upper body working with a partner, All fitness levels welcome
Cardio blast - 30mins
This class is based around high intensity cardiovascular exercise aimed at increasing your fitness level. It can be designed around interval training using shorts bursts of energy and at times utilising various types of equipment indoor and outdoors. Any level of fitness, work to your own individual needs
Cycle (See timetable for duration)
This class is an absolute calorie destruction! Fantastic for shaping and toning your lower body and dramatically increasing your fitness level. This class is set to motivating high energy music in a fun and friendly environment.
A non-impact indoor cycle class that is as much about inspiration as it is perspiration. Sessions cater for all levels of fitness and experience. Hills, sprints and steady state training all combine to make this a fun and rewarding class set to alternate classic known music, any fitness level welcome beginners & mature participates
Fitball - 45mins
This class is a core strengthening class designed to improve range of motion, strength, stability, co-ordination and balance. This class provides an excellent workout which will result in core strength and stability, improved posture and better body alignment, using free weights and fitballs. Suited to all levels of fitness
Activate - 45mins
A gentle exercise program with a strong emphasis on four key elements of fitness. Cardio, strength, core and flexibility. This low-impact class Perfect for the mature member or beginner.
Dynamic Core - 30mins
Training session inspired strength workout that trains the stabilising trunk muscles. Ideal for tightening the tummy and butt while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention.
MIND & BODY
Power Yoga - 60mins
Power Yoga is a fitness-based vinyasa practice. An offshoot of Ashtanga Yoga, it has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction. Suited to intermediate/advanced participants.
Yoga - 60mins
A balanced combination of sustained poses (Hatha) as well as poses flowing in a mindful progression. Attention is given to basic alignment & therapeutic principles
Holistic Yoga - 1.5h
A Peaceful approach to yoga practice to receive unlimited benefits on all levels of your Being. Enjoy a sense of heightened Wellness with no injury. Nourish Heal & Strengthen your Mind Body Soul.
Pilates - 55mins
A body conditioning core strength postural class with a strong focus on alignment technique used to develop a strong, centred and balanced body.
Aquafit - 45mins
The water provides resistance to strengthen your muscles and raise your heart rate while minimizing impact on your joints. During the classes, you may perform callisthenic-type moves, use the water resistance while exercising with floats, tread water, walk or jog -- all in waist- or neck-deep water.
Gentle Aqua - 45mins
Classes are an excellent follow-up to physiotherapy or rehabilitation and a safe form of exercise for people with limited mobility and joint or muscle pain.
Deep Water Running - 45mins
This class is conducted in deep water with the use of a buoyancy belt. It is a workout designed to utilize every major muscle group in the body without the impact on the joints. A great class based around improving your cardio fitness.
